Educational Traffic Safety Campaigns
In 2010, the Lithuanian Road Administration under the Ministry of Transport and Communications has been carrying out the following educational traffic safety campaigns:
- Project Take Care of Each Other on the Road (Saugokime vieni kitus kelyje). Project participants are: the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Lithuanian Road Administration under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Police Department under the Ministry of the Interior and the Lithuanian Archidiocese (more about the project: www.lra.lt);
- Safety belts‘ efficiency and vehicle turnover simulation equipment and children‘s safety facilities are demonstration in municipalities (more information on the equipment demonstration: www.lra.lt);
- Organize the competition for communities “Traffic Safety in Communities“ (more about the competition read www.lra.lt);
- Joint educational traffic safety improvement campaigns with state road maintenance companies “...regiono keliai“ and „Automagistralė“.
