Road Maintenance and Development Programme Financing Sources
Financing Sources Stipulated in the Law on the Financing of the Road Maintenance and Development Programme:
  1. Share of Revenue from Excise Duty from Sales of Petrol, Diesel Fuel and Energy Products which are Produced from Materials of Biological Origin or Contain their Supplements and are Intended for Use as Motor Fuel;
  2. Share of Revenue from Excise Duty for the Sold Liquefied Petroleum Gas Intended for Use as Motor Fuel
  3. Tax for Heavy Goods Vehicles Registered in the Republic of Lithuania
  4. Road User Charges
  5. Tax Levied for Using Roads on Vehicles (Vehicle Combinations) the Dimensions of Which Exceed Those Authorised.
  6. Charge for the Restriction of Traffic;
  7. Targeted Funds Transmitted by Natural or Legal Persons, Other Organizations, Their Affiliations and Foreign States;
  8. Funds from the Paid or Recovered Penalties for Exceeding the Speed Limit Registered by Speed Cameras Installed on State Significance Roads.
 
Note:
  1. CBN – Funds Allocated from RMDP for Common Budgetary Needs according to the Law on the Approval of the Financial Indicators of the State Budget and Municipality Budgets.
  2. RMDP Funds Excluding Extra (2014 and 2015) Funds in 2015 and 2016.
  3. Amounts Presented in the Graphs are Recalculated by Deducting CBN from all RMDP Financing Sources.
